Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a really dated and awful decor, reminiscent of the 70s or 80s with tacky luxury elements, but they were in great condition and very clean, down to detailed dusting. The service, especially from Haruna, was amazingly helpful, although they interrupted a conversation for breakfast options. The location, although slightly off the tourist area, was good for walking paths by the water, but the poor soundproofing was a downside. The dining options were a hit-or-miss with local organic products being a highlight. The facilities were decent overall.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel located on the coastline. The rooms were as clean as you would expect in Japan, with a unique layout of a western style bedroom and a tatami-matted sitting room. However, the lack of effective cooling options made it too hot at times. The service was exceptional, especially Haruna, who went above and beyond to make my trip memorable. The distance from central Kamakura was a drawback, but the easy access to the sea and Inoshima island balanced it out. Dining was delightful, although a bit pricey for the options provided.
The hotel's rooms were relatively smaller and older than expected, but good enough. They were also spacious, designed for four people, and clean, typical in Japan. The service was extremely nice in general, although not every staff member was equally friendly. Haruna stood out for her exceptional service. The location was slightly off the tourist areas but close to two main attractions, Hase-dera and the Big Buddha. The beaches nearby and the walk path along the water were great features. The dining was excellent although slightly costly, especially for seasonal dishes. The facilities were decent.
The hotel had a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms, although older and smaller than expected, were in good condition. The service was exceptionally warm and helpful, despite some interruptions. The location, while disappointing due to poor soundproofing, could be great for travelers with cars. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with a delicious breakfast but lacking in bed comfort. The facilities were decent overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had a dated look with a mix of Western and traditional Japanese style. While the service from the staff was friendly, the dining experience fell short in some aspects. The location, although not ideal for sightseeing and shopping, offered a view of the ocean. The facilities were decent but did not excel in any particular aspect.
